Jimi Benson works as volunteer to rehabilitate school

The young and vibrant lawmaker was recently spotted in his constituency, helping with repairs at Anglican Primary School, Ijede, a suburb of Ikorodu.

Pictures obtained by  showed the lawmaker helping out with the plastering of the school’s walls as he was seen carrying the head pan with some members of the constituency in the school area as they prepare to welcome students back after the long vacation.

The lawmaker who has spent a little over one year at the House of Representatives is already touted by the people of Ikorodu as the true definition of representation because of his communication with members of his constituency.
Benson being directed on where to put the pan as the rehabilitation of the school continued.
Benson is a nephew of Otunba TOS Benson, Nigeria’s former minister of information, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer from Ikorodu.

The pictures also showed the lawmaker, popularly referred to as JB, presenting some of the head pans to volunteer workers who were also helping with the school’s return to the new academic session.
“Weldone guys, but you still have to smoothen this place to make it attractive,” he appeared to be telling the workers.
